Original Paintings
Flowers for Fran
Carolina Fernandez
My friend Fran purchased this painting, and it turned out to be one of my favorites because of its vibrancy, composition and naïve feel. Reds and pinks dance atop a blue vase; huge blooms mix with smaller ones and green foliage. Against the pale blue background and the red table, it is striking in its bold use of color.
