Flowers for Lisa
Carolina Fernandez
A visit out-of-state to one of my dearest friends prompted a painting with which to gift her. This expressionist oversized blooms in orange, coral, pink and yellow are asymmetrically positioned in a glass vase. The vibrant background, mixing green and purples into an otherwise plain blue space, juxtaposed with the deep cobalt table, adds both vibrancy and warmth.
