Lavender Flowers in a Vase
Carolina Fernandez
This large expressionist painting is full of unopened lavender flowers, deep red fussy blooms and pops of turquoise and orange. Set in a glass vase, the green stems are shown in the water. Set against a yellow background on a deep blue table, the juxtapositions make for a vibrant composition.
